Increase Memory Power and Concentration in Four Steps

By Dr. John Powers

How would you enjoy doing trivial things like games and Q&A and never forgetting the answers? What if you never again forgot a friends birthday or a family members anniversary. Sadly a photographic memory is not the norm. Most of us must use tricks to help us remember things in our lives.

Beneficially, everyone is able to increase their brain function and improve their memory. These enhancements will help you recall information to help you with anything from a Q&A television program to a scary school exam. These steps will help get you and your memory on the right track.

1. Motivate yourself that you can have a good memory that can always be improved. Most people got struck in this idea and it seems they find it very difficult that their memory is bad, that they are not good in recalling numbers or names and some important information just slips out of their minds. Scrap these negative thoughts and promise yourself that you will improve your memory. Dedicate yourself to the task and monitor your achievement. Also, it will be very hard to be motivated if you keep on punishing yourself every time you make little progress.

Step2) Workout your brain with regular exercise. This will keep your brain growing and producing new networks of nerves that widely improve memory function. Certain acquired skills such learning a new language or playing a musical instrument helps boost your optimization. Do puzzles or games to keep your brain active and increase function.

Three: Exercise your brain daily. Mental stretching increases circulation and normal brain function. Brain circulation helps reduce on-set memory loss in older adults and aids in memory function.

Step 4) *Important* Reduce your stress levels. Stress is commonly known to be caused the Cortical hormone. Even though no physical damage to the brain is caused by the Cortical hormone, it can make memory recall very difficult. Stressful times are created by the hypothalamus which instructs the pituitary gland to secrete the hormone ACTH.

Keep your brain healthy and remember to push it a little every day. Your brain is one of the most important parts of your body and over time if you follow these steps, you will increase your memory and concentration and will ensure a healthier brain.
