Even if your workout isn't a hard one you will still feel some benefits in a day or two usually. When you decide to get in shape and hit the gym hard your first time out after a length of inactivity is when you will feel this the most. So it can be dangerous if you have been relatively sedentary and decide to get in shape. There is no reason to rush. In fact, see a doctor and get a quick check-up, then just go slow and you will have a better experience.

At the end of the day it is expected that you will be tired but you should try to get some exercise done and you will feel better. If you know what your natural circadian cycle is you would be able to reset it. Adjustments will come you just have to give it some time. Your mind is the one that is tired and resistant, but once you break through your resistance and do some exercise after work your body will have more energy.
