Juicing for a healthy Life

One of the best ways to improve your health is to join the growing number of people who are juicing. Not only does it boost your health and well-being, it can also save you money and provide you with a new hobby at the same time. Some of the best juice machines on the market today are out there waiting for you and you will no longer be restricted to expensive store-bought juices. These have restricted flavors as well. To make your own juices from fresh fruits and vegetables yourself, keep reading for more tips on how to incorporate juicing into a healthy lifestyle.

Different Fruits and Vegetables - Variety is important when juicing. Balance is achieved by selecting different colors, textures and flavors of produce when you juice. Also, some vegetables and fruits will be easy to add together, while others may take a little experimenting with before you are happy with the result. A masticating juicer will juice wheatgrass and leafy greens as well as other fruits and vegetables and will also generally extract more juice. A fast centrifugal juicer might be useful, but they are not meant for leafy greens and you are likely to miss out on juicing a balanced variety of fruits and vegetables.

Don't Drink Soda - Give up drinking soda if that is something you are accustomed to doing, because there is little in the way of nutrients in it. It should not be part of a healthy life choice. Drinking healthy fresh juices is much better for you because of the nutrients they contain. The best way to extract nutrients from produce is with a masticating juicer because they are the best juice machines for this purpose. They extract more juice, but are a lot slower than a centrifugal juicer. Fresh juice is healthier than soda any day and once you start replacing your soda with fresh juice, you won't look back.

Juicing Together -Why not try juicing with someone else just for something different? Any healthy lifestyle change always works better when you are doing it with someone else. It's a great activity to do with friends and loved ones and you can share and swap ideas and recipes. More importantly, it's something you can do at home without the stress of heading into traffic to go someplace where you will likely stand in a line waiting for a ticket. Stay home, relax and see what delicious creations you can come up with to share. This is great to do with kids who can see nothing wrong at all with drinking green colored liquid from a glass and generally like concoctions.

Try New Recipes - Don't just stick with old favourites, like apple or carrot juice. Mix it up a bit with the vegetables and fruits or add some spices into the mix, such as ginger for example. If you do come up with a favourite, write down the ingredients so you can remember it for another time or to share with friends. You will probably surprise yourself and start marketing for fruits and vegetables in earnest, especially when you can buy in bulk at reduced rates. Juicing can add a lot of value to a healthy lifestyle and is one of the easiest and most enjoyable ways to improve your health. If you stick with some of these tips you'll be making delicious fruit juices before you know it.
